I have been using the Comet browser, from perplexity.ai recently. The browser is based on Chrome and all the features and plugins typically port over seamlessly. Voice in is working well across almost all websites, for example I am using it perfectly well for this post. Where it is not working is on “perplexity.ai” itself.
Can anyone advise how to fix this? Thank you.

Thanks for reporting the issue. I have filed a bug ticket. We generally only support Chrome and Edge browser. I just tested Comet and Voice In seems to work on Comet. We will try to add support for using Voice In on the default new tab page in Comet.
Thank you, that would be great. Comet is built on Chrome and all extensions more or less work very well. However as I mentioned for some reason, I think because comment also has it’s own version of microphone dictation, it seems to clash on perplexity.ai homepage for some reason.
