Is anyone else having problems using voice-in on X (formerly Twitter)? Before you get halfway through a sentence, the first four or five words start repeating themselves. If you try to backspace to remove the second instance of repeated text, it goes sort of haywire and starts replicating the text even more. I’ve seen it fill up the entire page.

We have fixed the issue in v4.40. You should be able to use Voice In on X.com

Problem: Every time Voice In is activated, it registers another XApp status icon. The Cinnamon XApp Status Applet displays each one, eventually filling the entire panel with microphone icons.
Workaround: Disabling the Cinnamon XApp Status Applet immediately removes the duplicate microphone icons while Voice In continues to function normally.
