Voice In functionality and plans

Hi

I came across your site and am not entirely sure I understand if this works with Office 365 for Windows Desktop. I’m looking for dictation primarily for emails in my Outlook application on my Windows machine. I also want it for Microsoft Word on desktop.

Will this work with both of these?

Also…do you offer any student discount either on lifetime or the yearly plans?

FYI - your site shows your email as support@dictanote.co (I think you meant .com), however using .com my email rejects sending noting that it is a bad email.

Can anyone offer insight on the differences between dictanote and voice in and which is more beneficial? Is there some link to compare the two?

Emma

Hi Emma,

We offer two products: Voice In and Dictanote.

Voice In is a Chrome extension that lets you use voice to type on over 10,000 websites in 50+ languages. Voice In transcribes your speech to text in real-time. You can use it to type emails in Gmail, enter data into Teladoc, write blogs in WordPress, etc. You can find more details at Voice In - #1 Speech To Text Extension for Chrome.

Dictanote is a note-taking app with built-in voice-to-text integration.
Dictanote also includes Audio Scribe, our new AI writing assistant. Audio Scribe converts your voice notes into clearly summarized text. Learn more at Audio Scribe - Smart AI Writing Assistant

Voice In is the more popular one

Voice In works across all sites in Chrome and Edge browsers. You can use it in Gmail, outlook.com, office365, etc in the browser. It doesn’t work in external applications like the Outlook desktop app.

support@dictanote.co is the correct email address. support@dictanote.com should also work.

The price listed on the website is already discounted and a great deal. The yearly plan works out to $5 per month. We offer no additional discounts.
